Here are  of some of our favorite links. Some very interesting, informative and useful stuff (not just boondoggle!)  And we are always adding, so be sure and bookmark us and check back soon!

* ALL BREED EQUINE PEDIGREES: Here you can look up the pedigree of any registered horse,...but be careful, this site can be edited by anyone so info is not 100% reliable. Double check the info with other more reliable sources, such as the breed-specific registry.

*NEW* EQUINE RESCUE & GRANT RESOURCES; A Great Place for Info on Finding Grants:

* INTERNET HAY EXCHANGE: An international database of places to find hay.  This site also has an excellent up to date "drought monotoring" map.

 http://www.hayexchange.com/

* NATIONAL DIRECTORY OF EQUINE RESCUE ORGS: : Note: Up until recently QARR had been listed on this (Sylivias) site for a long time, but we noticed that we have been removed. Apparently, the sites owner, is a Neer-sighted friend (See "Note"  at the bottom of our home page for explaination). We are leaving the link up anyways because it is an excellent directory regardless of Sylivas bias against us;

*DOG DETECTIVE:.Com:  A National database to place stolen & lost dog info:

* PETFINDER.COM: Here you can search a state by state directory to find an adoptable pet or post a pet you have available for adoption. Word of warning when offering pets for adoption; many unscruplous people search here looking for "FREE TO A GOOD HOME" pets only to re-sell them either to private individuals, companies (labratories) or for use a bait for fighting dogs, or snake food. To discourage this type of person from adopting your pet, ask them if they wouldnt mind signing adoption papers stating that if for any reason they can no longer keep your pet, it will be returned to you. This generally will "weed out" the bad from the good. For more info, you can read about THE DANGERS OF "FREE TO A GOOD HOME" which is the subject of the next few links.
